Zooming In On CMM

Moving is part of life, and we know it can be stressful. That’s why we’ve assembled a team of bright young student-athletes and logistical wizards from around the Twin Cities to make sure your possessions are in good hands. Our team comes from a lot of different backgrounds, so we’ve devoted part of every month to introducing them to you. This month we’ve bribed our our On-Site Estimate Extraordinaire, Kyle Borntrager, with a fresh roll of tape to sit down and answer a few questions!

Kyle, you’ve been a part of the CMM Sales Team for a while.  When did you start?

I started working at CMM in February 2016.  So it’s almost a year!

What brought you to CMM?

I needed a change of scenery and a job that could help me focus more on my sales skills because there was no means for moving up at my previous employer.

What do you enjoy most about On-Site Estimates?

The variety of locations that I get to see and the fun people I meet doing it.

What do you think makes an On-Site Estimate so valuable for potential customers?

It gives us the best idea of exactly what we’re moving and how to move out of a location.  We know exactly how to move it out of because we have been on site and know what to expect.  It also gives us a better chance of getting as exact an estimate as possible.

Any fun work stories or memories you’d like to share with the people?

From here?

Yes.

Well I went on a move once and gauged my leg.

That’s not a very fun story. That must’ve hurt.

No, it’s not. And, it did.

What other hobbies do you have when you’re not at work?

 I build stuff.

A man of many words… What do you build?

I build carpet ball tables and a lot of custom wood art pieces.

Make anything cool lately?

Yeah, I made a Tough Mudder bandana hanger.

And closing with the most important question, if you had to eat only one flavor of ice cream for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Chocolate
